my opinion is that the red letters could simply be replaced with a small light that blinks for a few seconds on your heads up display say attached to your map? this way not everyone would notice it had blinked but preceptive players would notice

just to make a side not, I wrote about a weapon I designed called the FLC (Focal Lazar Cannon), this weapon if not a Light weapon could also have its damage slightly increased & be made into a heavy weapon instead.
